Hi Everyone,

In case anybody noticed, our membership is down to 34 members. Last night, I pruned out members who have not signed in or posted on the Site in over three months.

I can understand being away for a while and I can understand signing up for a group and then forgetting that you have signed up. For the seven members that I had pruned from the Group, I had sent a couple of "gentle" messages out to them reminding them that they had joined our Group and that we would love to see them participating here with the rest of the members. Not one of these individuals even responded by email or by coming to the site. Once I prune a member, I do send them an email informing them that they have been removed from the group for lack of participation and that when they feel that they are able to commit to participating within the group, we will be here to welcome them back with open arms. So, the door is always left open to these members that are pruned.

Therefore, my only option to keep an honest count of our members was to prune them. That is the one part of being Admin and Site Owner that I really do not like; but, it has to be done.

The good news is that I find every time that I do remove a member, we seem to get new members! So let's all get ready to start welcoming new members!
