Good evening to all my online family, especially Mom and Dad!
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Dylan passed this year with flying colors! And not just flying colors, his average is 94.4%!
We're so tickled pink over this it's not even fit. His father has had a proud grin plastered over his face all day long, I'm as giddy as a school girl, everyone is yelling out encouragement and praise to him every time he leaves the house.
We picked him up at school early this morning, unable to contain our need to see the words, Passed to Grade 8. We took him out to dinner at The Cabin, his favorite breakfast nook. Then we went to Keswick, NB to visit the petting zoo and have ice cream. Finally we ended our day with a trip to our local seafood store where we picked out $54 worth of fresh wild lobster for supper. Dylan had never had lobster before so I went all out to show him how proud we are of the hard work he did this year in school. After last year, he certainly deserved it.
He has thoroughly enjoyed his Graduation Day activities but says he's tired of hearing how proud we are of him... for one day 
So that's my news to share, hope everyone else with kids also had a happy day today, or whenever your graduation day was/is.
