Gumdrop Cake

1 c. butter or margarine
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 lb. gumdrops (cut up, no black)
1 tsp. lemon juice or extract
2 c. white sugar
1 c. warm milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour mixed in gumdrops

Combine ingredients and bake in a preheated 300 oven for 1 hour

***I use a tube pan, greased and flour and wax paper on the bottom, and is usually over an hour, (Until toothpick comes out clean)***
