I was a leader for a non profit weight loss group and in March you have to vote for the next executive. Well I didn't get leader again and I am ticked. Now the reason I am ticked is because Cindy wanted to be co-leader for a year and then maybe next year be leader. Well the day of voting I got slammed and Cindy wanted to be leader and she got voted in. So that means that Cindy gets to pick her weight recorders. Well she picked the most negative person in the group. I am not looking forward to tomorrow because I have to install the new people. I am not going to be able to do it because I am going to the dentist again. The worse part of the whole thing is that my hubby has been Weight recorder for 2 years and they didn't even tell him that he wasn't doing it anymore. I had to. It was hard to do because he was really hurt. 
Well I will see what happens with the new people. All I know is that I am not helping them too much. Let them figure things out for themself. Even if I did help they would say I am trying to still run it.

Petra,
I am so sorry that you have had to experience this with your Group. I know your Group quite well. Unfortunately, somethings these things happen. I agree with you though, if you offer a helping hand it will be misconstrued as something else. Some people can be so hurtful. Hope your Hubby gets over his pain soon. They did both of you so wrong.

I am going to try to be nice to them, but I will not go to the meeting early and help them set up and take down stuff. They want to run it so run it.
I am going to focus on other things in my life right now. I have a brand new house to fix up this summer and also try and find a partime job.
