After the attack on my husband, Jessica was sent to juvi detention. When that was up, she had no place to go. My sister, Karen, had just moved. She decided to buy a house. She let Jessica move in with her. Jessica went to school, but dropped out. Things were going good for them for about 6 months. Jessica started stealing from Karen, not coming home, and just getting into trouble. Now remember, Karen is the sister with NO kids, and was trying to tell me, all of Jessica's problems were my fault, and I was raising her wrong. Oh how I wanted to say "See, I told you so" but I didn't. I was talking with Jessica during all this time.
When Jessica turned 17, she met this young man. I'm not sure how old he was. They lived in another city, and I didn't get a chance to go there. He seemed like a very nice guy. He did get Jessica to go back and get her GED. They got married, and things seemed good for them. Then I started hearing reports of abuse, you know--he said, she said--.Well that ended their relationship. She was working and had started to turn things around. After this, she met another guy. He was somewhat older then she was. He was very good to her. The main problem was, he was from Mexico, and still had family there. So all his money went there. They lived on a little bit of nothing. This kinda bothered me. After they had been together for about 8 months, she found out she was pregnant
They got married before the baby was born. She was working and going well for herself.
I will start the next chapter soon.
