Hugs From Home, Inc is a soon to be non-profit organization which was formed to support our troops while they are deployed away from home. Founded in 2004, and run by Kristin Petrella and Samantha Novotny, our mission is to provide the Service Men and Women who are risking their lives for our country with the much needed support and comfort of home that mail can bring.

Each member "adopts" a deployed Service Member and writes to them on a monthly basis. Many "Huggers" write weekly and send care packages to their Service Members, even though it is not a requirement. In addition to writing, there are many projects and fundraisers that Hugs From Home organizes; such as writing letters to Service Men and Women recovering in local hospitals, food and supply drives, a special event called "Holidays from Home," and much more.
