Its February! Thats means Spring is coming! (Soon I hope)

The sun is out here but suppose to get some snow and freezing rain tonight and rain tomorrow!

Just a few chores to do around the house today and have to get Eddies jeans hemmed,,(I hate hemming pants, grrrrrrrr)

We had all kind of plans to do a lot last night, but company came in so that was the end of those plans! But that is ok, we will get to town tonight and get things done!

Letta, Hope you feel better soon, darn old colds are no fun!

Lynne, How are your toes? That must be so painful, I know when I broke my finger the pain and throbbing was worse than when I broke my leg crying

MrsMuffin,,any word on your friends daughter? Have they started treatment yet?

Yeah spring is around the corner, it would be nice if it came early then expected though! The weather has be crazy the past few days. Pepsigirl & loisona hope you guys have better luck this time around with the hydro!!
Worked until 5 today, we were not that busy. We ended up closing the store early because of the weather.

Michael got to the bank yesterday and got the Phone bill paid. By the end of the week we will finally have our Call Answer add on so that people won't keep getting a busy signal when they call us. rolmao

Good afternoon,,running behind here,,its been a crazy few days around here!

One of our Timmie Buddies (Jeanette) lost her battle with Cancer last night, she was only 63, she put up a good fight for a year now, she won 2 battles with breast cancer.One 5 years and one 7 years ago, but this battle was in her head, ribs, lungs and so on.

Not a lot to do on my to do list today! Really peeved at Air Canada, they have changed our flight 3 times now and each time has gotten worst! So I will have to call them and see what is going on,,they now have us with a 9 hour wait in Toronto and not getting into Edmonton til 11 pm their time and then its a 2 1/2 hour drive back to Tims house!!

And then to top this off, I am looking at Facebook and see that Tim (Stepson) and Brenda have ended their relationship! Sooooooooo really not sure what the frig to do now!

Oh well thats life! Suck it up Buttercup and get on with it!

still 2 months to figure it out! rolmao

Good afternoon

Not sure if I had mentioned that we have tickets booked for a trip out to Edmonton in April to see Alan Jackson and Brook and Dunn concert and of course to visit the kids, Tim gave us the tickets to the concert and our flight for a Christmas gift!

Since we booked our flights, Air Canada has changed our flight 3 times now and each time is getting worse, the wait in Toronto is now 9 hours and not getting into Edmonton until 11 pm their time and then a 2 !/2 Hour drive to Tims house, oh ya and leaving Moncton at 11;35 am instead of 2:50 pm

I have been trying to get a hold of Air Canada, Now is this sweet,,when you call the number that is on the itinery, it goes all through the press 1, press 2 sh*t, and when you try to press the number you want, it just keeps on yapping!, then after it goes through to press 9, then it goes to a dial tone!

You can rest assure that this will be our last trip with Air Canada, we flew our first trip with them and everything was fine, had no problems, but this one is a bugger

No doing to much around here today, I think my Blood Pressure is climbing! rolmao

We will be going to the funeral home tonight and the funeral is tomorrow for our friend

The sun is out and we are getting flurries here, haven't checked the weather report yet, but they were talking of a storm for the weekend??

Just came from Jeanettes funeral, very sad but at least she is not suffering anymore!

Not doing to much today, I think I will take today off! rolmao

Not doing much today. Laundry, trying to plan my menu for the week. that's about it.

Hey I can update all at once in here! Right on, forgot about the coffee shop.
OK! First let me start a new pot, this might take a while.

-Youngest sister (the one I don't like) goes for breast reduction surgery and a tummy tuck on the 15th.
-Other younger sister finally got her life straightened around and is on her way to fixing things once and for all and improving things within herself. With lots of help and support from big sister of course.
-Got cable reconnected, like being able to watch food network again, I missed it.
-Took 2 long years but I finally got my bed frame together and it is divine, when I sleep now I sleep well.
-Getting rid of the old couch and chair from the living room, I never liked them and want them gone now Wink

-Getting a new entertainment center to properly hold the big tv and all the components.
-Picked out all the paint colors for the entire house, paint buying and slapping on should commence sometime in March or April.
-Drew out the plans for the remodel of my office/bedroom to maximize space. It's so cluttered in here now I don't like being here for long.
-Renewed my love affair with sunflower seeds. I cannot get enough of them.
-Been writing feverishly, both in my book and on my new project, Cooking in Letta's Kitchen. Decided to finally put all the recipes together in book form and give it as gifts this xmas. Now other people can enjoy my creations and stop pestering me to make them all the time Wink

-Been preparing for Dylan's March Break trip. My mother is taking him to Disney World in Orlando. Had to get his passport and whatnot, what a go ahead, thought for sure I was going to knock out a government official when after 3 straight days of standing in line she told me AGAIN I didn't have all the information. Thankfully she was wrong. Got the passport now and all is set. They leave March 1st.
-Mike got the car repaired, again, and we're back to cruising around. Been doing a lot of visiting with Tab of late. We're taking her out with us on Tuesday as we go on a grocery shopping expedition. I call it an expedition because in total we will be stopping at 10 stores. Should be fun!
-Had a nasty cold in my head/chest that didn't want to let go and turned to nasty infections. All better now except for an occasional lingering cough and sneeze.
-Found out the other day a family member (and I use the term family very lightly) has once again been arrested on charges of molesting girls. Dealing with that has become more difficult than I thought as it rehashed memories from my childhood that I thought I had dealt with already. Working through it though.
-Jewelry making has been put on hold temporarily, life got too busy but I hope to get back at it soon.

I think that's about it, all I can think of for now anyway. I'm sure I'll be back with more though.
Tomorrow is Dylan's 14th birthday and I'm feeling a little old tonight. Think maybe I'll go get a snack and see if anything is on tv. Sitting here this long has caused the butt to start to throb again.

Yesterday we went for groceries and then grabbed a Timmies and heading off for a drive, we got home a little after supper so we just had hamburgers,

Well its been a blustery day off and on! Weird weather I tell ya!

Eddie has been home for supper and is out plowing the neighbours out, he could stay out there for hours, he loves to plow!

Just did the usual here today,,a load of clothes and dishes and get supper ready,,is there anything else to do??

Tomorrow hope to make bread and bake something for sweets

Letta, you sure are going to be a busy gal with all the painting, glad you are feeling better,,

Mrsmuffin,,I still don't have the flights straightened out, was talking to Tim and he said to leave it until March and if they don't change them again, he will go into Edmonton airport and get things ironed out

Well better run and check more things out!
