| we do alot of swaps on this one board i'm on for chemoangels. We did one for valentines day. Well one girl posted on her facebook status that she was never doing another swap because it was unfair to give from her heart when all she got back was junk. I felt so offended and i wasn't even the one that sent her her swap. The girl that did now feels so bad that she says she won't particiapte anymore. the first girl had made it know that what she sent was way over the $$$ limit that we had set (homemade jewellery) and was offended that all her gifts in return were from the dollar store. I was just so ticked off had to share!! |

That is so wrong. I am sorry to hear that type of attitude - especially from a
Group such as the one that you are involved in.
That one member needs to learn that gifts are meant to be from the heart and that a $ sign should never be a part of the equation regarding the thought of the gift.
I know personally, that some of my most cherished gifts have come from the Dollar Store.
I hope that the member that you are referring to does not dampen the spirits of the other members.

That is so selfish of that person to say such a thing! Maybe a suggestion should be made to ban her from the site, send her packing and take all her high class rubbish with her!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I don't like people like that! |

| WOW I agree send her packing! Obviously she missed the whole meaning of what was going on in this swap! hard to believe there are so many materialistic ppl out there... |

| Well they decided not to boot her from the group but she's made alot of enemies. Most are just deleting her emails without reading them. |
